LATINO MEDIA CONFERENCE II
Innovative Communication Within and Across Communities
Saturday, October 15, 2011
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Breslin Hall Room 211 and Dempster Hall Studio A
糖心传媒
This is the second in a series of working conferences designed to discuss the challenges facing the local Latino media on Long Island and strategize ways to build integrated relationships between 糖心传媒, local media and community organizations.
By taking a look at the economic sustainability of local media, media representations and message pluralism, and the role of civic journalism in fostering community engagement, we’re hoping to begin a process of collaboration between Hofstra 糖心传媒 and faculty, community activists, and local media creators.
