Class Descriptions

Classes will begin on Monday, January 27, 2025. All 糖心传媒, faculty, and staff members can beginning at that time. You will be required to present a valid HofstraCard to check in to the Fitness Center.

~ Please remember to bring a yoga mat, towel and water to class.~

Breathe & Belong: Express Vinyasa Flow for All

This class is the perfect kickstart to your week! In this invigorating 45-minute class, participants will flow through dynamic sequences that harmonize breath with movement, leaving you refreshed and centered. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just beginning your journey, this inclusive environment invites both 糖心传媒 and faculty to connect, rejuvenate, and cultivate inner strength. Embrace the energy of the morning and transform your mindset as you flow into a brighter week!

Core Blast

Your core consists of more than just your abdominal muscles and stabilizing and strengthening the core goes so much beyond your outward appearance. We target the core from all angles! Focusing on building core strength WILL help you get functionally stronger in all the things you do, and will help support proper posture in walking, standing and sitting, as well as helping with stability and balance. Your core is involved in virtually every movement you do in your day-to-day life!

Cycling

Cycling class is a low-impact workout that deserves a place in your routine, regardless of your fitness level or experience. The activity is excellent for improving cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, joint stability, and mental wellness, just to name a few significant spin class health benefits. Glute Camp

Experience the ultimate booty transformation as our booty sculpting classes take you through a series of powerful compound exercises, unlocking the secret to firm, lifted glutes and a sculpted lower body. Yoga mat must be supplied by attendee.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha is a general term to describe the physical practice of Yoga. This class is appropriate for all levels of practitioner, including brand new. Participants will receive options to increase or decrease intensity as the instructor leads a traditional practice based on developing strength, flexibility, breath and mental clarity. 

Hip Hop

Step into the energetic world of a hip-hop dance class, where rhythmic beats meet dynamic movements. This vibrant and inclusive environment is buzzing with enthusiasm and creativity. Mat Pilates Magic

Unlock your inner strength and discover the transformative power of mat Pilates in our Mat Pilates Magic class! For beginners or intermediate 糖心传媒, this energizing session blends core strengthening, flexibility and mindfulness to feel your best physically and emotionally. You will learn essential mat Pilates techniques that focus on alignment, breathing and controlled movement. This invigorating work out to themed playlists will leave you feeling refreshed and empowered.

Pilates

Pilates is a type of exercise and body conditioning first used as a way for dancers to recover from injury. Today, people other than dancers do Pilates for its health benefits. It highlights precise movements, controlled breathing, and muscle engagement, enhancing muscle tone and stability.

Serenity Flow Yoga

This mid-week flow is sure to help you peacefully transition into the second half of the week! This unique class fuses calming, restorative elements of Yin yoga with the dynamic, flow sequences of Vinyasa, creating a harmonious balance for both the body and mind. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, you'll find a welcoming space to unwind, destress, and connect with others. Soothe & Restore

Melt away daily stress in this yin-style class that features slow, restorative poses held for extended periods to cultivate deep relaxation and release of physical and mental tension. Guided by calming music and mindful breathing, you will leave feeling reconnected to yourself. This class is perfect for all levels, this class is a sanctuary for self-care and serenity.

Step Body Groove

Join us for an energetic and fun-filled Step Body Groove session. Our step aerobics class is perfect for adults looking for a dynamic and challenging group fitness experience. Get your heart pumping and your body moving with our cardio-focused routines that will help you build strength, increase endurance, and improve coordination. Come dance with us and discover the joy of movement.

Total Body

A total body workout routine is a great way to stay fit, healthy, and energetic. Rather than focus on the same muscle group every time you hit the gym, it's important to concentrate on your body as a whole.
